Goldedge: Dragon's Den
A downloadable game
An artefact for my dissertation project that I finished through my final year of uni!
I wanted to test the ways in which metafiction and breaking the fourth wall can impact player agency and engagement, and I'd always wanted to make a turn-based RPG, so my artefact grew and grew until it eventually just became a full game in its own right.
I tested this with a bunch of participants, and they all seemed to like it. This is more on here for archival purposes, but feel free to give it a shot!
Credits for all of the assets used is on the title screen of the game.

Install instructions
Download and extract 'Goldedge Dragon's Den.zip' and run the exe in the same location as the pck.
Highly recommended to play with no other windows open, just the game in front of your desktop background.
